Isabel Marant’s namesake label was started by the then-22-year-old in Paris in 1995 as a knit and jersey brand. Her designs take inspiration from around the world and are brought to life using materials that can be lived and traveled in with peace of mind. Five years after the creation of the main brand, she launched Marant Étoile. With this artsy casual line, she wanted to create clothing for women who were living their everyday lives, garments that allowed them to embrace the chaos of it all. The brand is also taking steps to reduce their impact on our planet by transitioning toward a more circular way of operating and using their use of sustainable materials.
